The flywheel effect

Blogging should follow the “flywheel effect”. I have reiterated several times- blogging helps in writing. The free flow of ideas makes it easier to understand and spot patterns. Here’s an example of the flywheel effect

These assume importance for those in content marketing and “trying” to funnel in customers, but I have mentioned it here to underscore that metrics are useless. You add value to yourself with sets up a virtuous cycle; discovery should happen organically.

That is the reason I didn’t invest time and effort to create newsletters. Let the blog be subscribed by any means and if anyone finds it useful, it would grow by sharing. Scheduling posts for every single day with a long-form whenever inspiration strikes is the best way to move forward.
