Getting motivation

It’s usually the hardest thing to muster, but simple enough to do it. Start small. Build on an idea and you’d figure out the way forward.

This post is worth your time:

Don’t Wait for Motivation, Act for Momentum

A tiny task is predictabile. I can envision the specific actions I’ll need to take to get it done. I can envision the outcome in my mind. There’s little risk of running into anything unexpected along the way.

A tiny task lets me focus. It liberates me from having to think about all the things I could be doing. I can sweep all that away and just focus on doing the thing.
