
This write up is about a policy decision on “right of way” – managing a complex federal structure, and a subcontinent like India is a bureaucratic nightmare. However, there is some sagacity in policy decision-making, and an understanding that 5G roll out requires a clean pathway.

These amendments will pave the way for deployment of 5G small cells on existing street infrastructure. With these series of reforms, the country is now ready for launch of 5G services by October 2022, a Ministry of Communications release said.
I hope the roll out is accelerated!
