I think the solution to my problems is PaperpIle. It is a nifty reference manager that works. I was looking for the way to export out the annotations. I can use markdown or even text to export out the annotations.

I plan to use Scribd to host my PDF’s. I would require a higher plan to unlock the plugins on a WordPress installation. It is not worth it. It makes sense only for those users who have a higher bandwidth requirement.
